HDPE pipe is a type of flexible plastic pipe used for fluid and gas transfer and is often used to replace ageing concrete or steel mains pipelines. Made from the thermoplastic HDPE, its high level of impermeability and strong molecular bond make it suitable for high pressure pipelines.
As part of the process of welding joints of pipe, regular testing is required typically every 20 joints welded by a welding machine.
Our responsibility is to test that the quality of the joints welded is flawless as the pipes are meant to stay in the ground for decades of use.
We provide the mechanical testing services according to strict ISO standards required by clients. The ISO standards regulating the tests specify that the tests need to occur within a specified time frame
